Everyone was PMS-y in the lab today.

It was pretty bad.

4 were absent including August, and it got pretty busy in the middle of work.

My stupid machine was PMS-y too, and some people had to come down to get it fixed or something.

In the end I couldn't finish my samples and I feel so damn paranoid about my work.

I just hope the leftovers will be completed by the second shift.

Anyway, we went to Kembangan for dinner today, and we had Thosai, Murtabak and Naan.

The food wasn't very nice this time round and there were leftovers.

I'VE BEEN TOO DAMN BUSY AND TIRED TO BLOG!!

Work is literally shitty when I have to avoid people out to 'arrow' me, but I've made some new friends in the process!!

Now I have lunch buddies and break companions and work becomes easier and much less taxing in a way.

I've somehow managed to learn a few advanced tests (even though we're not supposed to) which require loads of waiting and nothing much else and I'm glad I get to do basic tests which are slightly more 'action packed'. (Read: More things to do repetitively for hundreds of samples, less waiting time, which kinda makes time fly faster.)

I wish I have time to buy crystals to pimp my things up, since my crystals ran out and I'm stuck with incomplete work, but I guess it's not possible for me to do all that this few months since the stupid shops are always closed at 6:30pm and not open on Public Holidays.

ARGH.

Social Events: Went out with Jabie for dinner before driving lessons on Thursday and went out to chill with Feonna yesterday at Vivocity!! LOL. We went shopping at Daiso. ROFL.

I've been socially 'active' since Thursday and it made me feel pretty good going out and meeting my beloved friends!!



Wednesday was driving lessons, so I spent the night after work driving and knocking down poles while reverse parallel parking.



Thursday was spent eating dinner with Adrian and drinking at this Joo Chiat Mando lup sup bar and playing pool while Vietnamese prostitutes looked on and hooked up with Retired, Rich Uncles.



Friday was spent with Wei Qiang after I'd somehow wander my way home from Boon Lay where the 7pm minivan uncle dropped me off, and gotten ready to meet W.Q who drove us from my house to Downtown East for Max Payne. ROFL.



When two lazy bums get together, they do the silliest things for little creature comforts like DRIVING 100m for a movie when we could've easily walked and saved on parking as well. LOL.



Anyway, Max Payne was so-so. Pretty expected and action packed for movie adapted from a game.



Saturday was great cuz we (W.Q, Pillai, James, David, K.E, YZH and I) met up with Mrs Lim for Swensen's dinner!!

I MISSED MY BUS HOME YESTERDAY!!

I was fucking rushing to complete all my samples for dilution cuz there's this afternoon shift guy that always gives me this stupid pitying glance when I can't complete my dilution and I HATE that.

Though technically, the samples are almost impossible to complete cuz samples come in all the fucking time.

But miraculously, I managed to complete all my ELF samples yesterday and I was so fucking happy la! Then I rushed all the way out to punch my card and look for the bus but it was GONE!!

I had no choice but to find my way back into the lab and hung around sample reception and helped Serene key in lab data until 7pm for the last bus.

Anyway, the fucking laptop screwed up again.

I had previously requested for a one for one exchange when they took one fucking month to get it fixed for the THIRD CONSECUTIVE TIME.

But instead of granting me a one for one exchange immediately, they cunningly told me that the new unit would take A MONTH TO ARRIVE FROM OVERSEAS.

WTF.

Obviously, the push for a one for one exchange somehow made the 'component from overseas' which needed 'a month's time for order and delivery' to somehow ARRIVE within 3 days of my one for one request.

Pfft.

Unfortunately for them, I'm on holiday, and I'm fucking free.

Which was why I did a thorough update and checked for faults and glitches that the technicians might've screwed up while re-attaching the newly arrived screen for the SECOND TIME. They had previously changed my tablet screen before, and the problems were NEVER resolved. Instead, they 'packaged' in more PROBLEMS, and my mousepad became insensitve and malfunctioned.

Anyway, I digress.

I discoverd while troubleshooting, that my built in WEBCAM was not wired up properly, hence rendering my webcam unusable.

The one for one exchange I requested didn't come.

Her diabetes now requires daily insulin jabs.

Princess died after suffering from the sniffles.

She was unglamorously mass cremated.

JT was going to send it to the vet tomorrow for it's check up. But alas, we were too late.
