I MISSED MY BUS HOME YESTERDAY!!
I was fucking rushing to complete all my samples for dilution cuz there's this afternoon shift guy that always gives me this stupid pitying glance when I can't complete my dilution and I HATE that.
Though technically, the samples are almost impossible to complete cuz samples come in all the fucking time.

But miraculously, I managed to complete all my ELF samples yesterday and I was so fucking happy la! Then I rushed all the way out to punch my card and look for the bus but it was GONE!!

I wanted to call Aein to stop the bus but my HP was dead!!

I had no choice but to find my way back into the lab and hung around sample reception and helped Serene key in lab data until 7pm for the last bus.
She has TONS of things to key in but that place is terribly short-handed!!
But at least I kinda lessened her work load. I was damn pissed off when Justin called to chat cuz I was trying to do some work.
URGH!
I think I'm going crazy though, cuz I wasn't paid for the extra work while this other intern was paid to OT!

Anyway, almost everyone in the department speaks Cantonese because they're mostly Malaysian.
But I don't fucking understand Cantonese!
I used to when I was working for Sindy, and could speak basic Canto, but apparently I've forgotten the dialect completely.

I feel so damn stupid and foreign in there.
I think I must ask Sindy to teach me Cantonese.

And then for all I know, they start speaking Malay because they don't want me to understand their gossip. ROFL.
Anyway, the three 'wise men' from NYP came down to lecture me the other day and I cried.
I don't think A's use of language was very appropriate though I'm used to hearing people go 'fuck this," "fuck that".
But imagine if people like the Tormentors were to hear about it. They would really freak out.

I've managed to be nosey and ask/bug some other staff and interns to teach me the various tests that they're doing and I think I'm pretty content with ICP sample dilution. At least it keeps me busy all day, with no time to get bored.
But I'm jealous that Augustine got to do other tests other than Ferrous metal as well. But then it doesn't really matter.
Cuz I'll be stuck in there for another 4 months anyway.

Walao...
The dinner at Cafe Cartel the other night caused serious indigestion.
Ugh.
I puked my guts out yesterday, and recovered well enough (sort of) to go for driving lessons where I didn't do too well.
Went to Downtown East's E!Hub to meet up with my beloved friends (W.Q & Cass), with Y.C tagging like all faithful and overly protective boyfriends. LOL.
We bought tickets for Connected, at 12 midnight and spent the time in between hanging out at Mac, (them) eating fries while I tried sipping Hot Milo.
Loads of chatter in between...
*OMG, JABIE TOOK MY J PASS NUMBER TO BUY 4D AND HE WON $75!!!*
WTF. AM I HIS FUCKING LUCKY STAR OR WHAT?!
SHIT, IF ONLY I HAD BOUGHT AS WELL... then again, he should just split his winnings with me, right? Since I gave him the number. Without my number, he won't have won anyway.
Ok, I digress.
So, we chatted until 11 plus before heading in for the movie.
The movie's worth to see, though it's not really blockbuster material.
*shrug*
Walked home after that with W.Q. while Cass and Y.C went home together.

Woke up at 10am today to go to Jurong Island to make my "S" pass, before going to make a new pair of glasses.
But the bitches at home had previously chucked and messed my things up, making it impossible for me to find my frames which I'd bought.
Grr...
In the end I kicked up a big fuss and cried my way to Jurong with Jabie lending me his shoulder.
*sigh*
I wish *ahem* was there to hug and kiss my tears away, but sadly he's SOMEWHERE out there in Australia.
Anyway, we wasted 3 hours in Jurong East eating, waiting for fucking 717 and 715 which NEVER came.
In the end we had to cab in there. ARGH.
I've been cabbing EVERYWHERE since Wednesday!!!
Grr.

Damn it.
I managed to get my glasses done in the evening when I finally found my frame, and had dinner at Cafe Cartel where the food filled us to the brim.

P.S: JBC and I wanted to eat at Pizza Hut at Jurong Point, but the menu were too inflexible and everything else were just so screwed up that we left the hut after HALF AN HOUR of deliberation over the menu.
-Can't order set meal with pizza.
-Can't top up amount to change set pizza to something else.
-NEED 4 PERSON to order a 4 person set meal. (Which means you're NOT allowed to eat a 2 person meal if you went in alone either.) WTF.
-Soup and salads are NO LONGER FREE FLOW THOUGH THE PRICE HAS INCREASED.
Need I say more?!
P.P.S: Adrian, Jason and Logan asked me out for drinks and Jabie wanted to meet me again after his driving lessons but I had too many things to settle so deferred all meetings to another week.
I REALLY NEED A FEW GOOD DRINKS SINCE I DIDN'T GET ANY CHANCE DURING THE SUPPOSED 6 WEEK HOLIDAYS.

I OVERSLEPT TILL 1PM WHEN I WAS SUPPOSED TO BE IN SCHOOL AT 1:30PM.
BUT THANK GOD I MANAGED TO CAB DOWN IN TIME WITHOUT MISSING ANYTHING IMPORTANT SINCE I'VE GONE THROUGH THE BRIEFING LAST SEMESTER.
ANYWAY, THOSE IN CHARGE FORGOT ABOUT ME AND HAD TO DO A LAST MINUTE 'ACTIVATION'. LOL.
I WAS ASSIGNED TO INTERTEK, SINGAPORE TESTING CENTRE, BUT I HAD TO RUSH DOWN TO THE HEAD OFFICE AT TANJONG PAGAR IMMEDIATELY FOR ORIENTATION BRIEFING.
UGH.
I WAS SUPPOSED TO MEET JABIE TO HELP HIM SHOP FOR HIS JEANS, BUT IN THE END, I HAD TO RUSH DOWN FOR A 5 MINUTE MEETING.
I HAD TO CAB ALL THE WAY THERE CUZ THE OFFICE WAS GOING TO CLOSE FOR THE DAY.

HEWLETT PACKARD IS LOUSY!!!!
J personalized a T-shirt for me at E!Hub the other day and we'll be collecting it tomorrow!

Anyway, the fucking laptop screwed up again.
I had previously requested for a one for one exchange when they took one fucking month to get it fixed for the THIRD CONSECUTIVE TIME.
But instead of granting me a one for one exchange immediately, they cunningly told me that the new unit would take A MONTH TO ARRIVE FROM OVERSEAS.
WTF.
Obviously, the push for a one for one exchange somehow made the 'component from overseas' which needed 'a month's time for order and delivery' to somehow ARRIVE within 3 days of my one for one request.
Pfft.
Unfortunately for them, I'm on holiday, and I'm fucking free.
Which was why I did a thorough update and checked for faults and glitches that the technicians might've screwed up while re-attaching the newly arrived screen for the SECOND TIME. They had previously changed my tablet screen before, and the problems were NEVER resolved. Instead, they 'packaged' in more PROBLEMS, and my mousepad became insensitve and malfunctioned.
Anyway, I digress.
I discoverd while troubleshooting, that my built in WEBCAM was not wired up properly, hence rendering my webcam unusable.
ARGH.
*fucking pissed*
Grr... but it's alright.
I'm going to make a big fuss and throw a bitch fit if I have to tomorrow.
I'M GONNA GET A ONE FOR ONE EXCHANGE. DAMMIT.
