Saturday. Intermittent rain threatened to spoil our plans. Sunny for a moment, drizzling, and then pouring the next.
We had lunch at Kembangan, and I had a yummy Thosai that tasted like Thosai.
Apparently, I look the happiest and prettiest while eating. LOL. Though I was once told the way I eat lies under the category of 101 Things NOT To Do While On a Date.
We waited for the rain to lighten while having lunch, because I wanted to watch the fireworks at the Esplanade for FireWorks Display 2008 while J wanted to go home for EPL.
WTF.
But I got my way in the end, and made J brave the rain with me.
Walked past some community welfare bazaar with way too many Police Officers on patrol for comfort.
Tsk.
Some MP or big shot must've been around for the event to activate so many of them.
The rain alternated between drizzle to shower for 3 hours before the actual fireworks display started. And in between the waiting, some fat, old bitch came to sit beside us and tried to shift my bag behind me away while using her fat ass to inch more space for her and her fat daughter.
The space along the marble benches were non existant in the first place to begin with, but she somehow managed to use her umbrella and hand bag to gain more ass space for her and her fat offspring.
ARGH!
I was so fed up, I took my umbrella and opened it up to get back my personal space, but she followed suit and pushed my umbrella upwards with hers!
Fuck. She even dripped rain on me!
She succeded in pushing the others around her away, but I refused to budge and continued to fight with her until J got fed up and stood up and then we ended up squabbling over it.
WTF.
WE ALMOST FUCKING BROKE UP BECAUSE OF THAT STUPID FAT BITCH!

Anyway, the fireworks were not too bad and worth the hours spent under the damn rain waiting.
I filmed part of it down.
