Driving is cheaper than cabbing, provided the car is free and requires no maintenance.

Had an interview at Depot Road today, at MINDEF. Had no idea how to get there, and so took a cab! That place is full of cute as hell NSmen. >_<

I couldn't resist staring at all of them in their black rimmed glasses and yummy skin tone! <3

The interview went well, and I'll just have to wait and see if I am what they are looking for!

Anyway, half way through, Uncle Nelson called to ask where I was as he was about to rush off for his flight to China and he had some lose ends that he needed me to help him with. So I cabbed down to Old Airport, and got some cheques and letters that he needed me to pass on, and had some lunch at Grand's.

Aunt Jolene was there too, to fetch Grand to her place while the house is empty. =)

Then the YAY-est thing happened.

Uncle Nelson allowed me to drive his car to fetch them to the Airport and also allowed me to drive his car while he is away!!

So I drove them to the airport, then from airport to home, to put the HUGE pot of porridge Grandma had cooked for the two lazy sisters to eat, before driving to school!

AND I HAVE NO BIG PROBLEM PARKING THE CAR! =D

Anyway, school was boring as hell. And the lecturer wasted the entire lecture figuring out how to answer the coursework's question that we wonder if he even know what he has been teaching. =.=!

Dropped JX off and then made a detour to refuel the car before sending Eugene Low to St. James. (Bloody full tank cost me $70!) I was supposed to join Eugene, but I was driving, and had to politely reject the invitation. =(

On the way home, I missed the exit to Pasir Ris Town TWICE because the bloody trees blocked the damn sign and I drove all the way to Changi instead. UGHS.

Stupidly tore 8 coupons for overnight parking instead of buying an overnight ticket because I didn't know that such coupon existed.

Grr...

Surprisingly though, when I told the Tormentors about my driving adventures today, they did not comment negatively.

They said NOTHING! =D

Best day ever.

[I almost got into multiple accidents today, with my reckless driving. But I thank GOD I'm alive! I was so scared of driving alone, but when I was left to my own devices after Uncle left me alone at the airport, I managed to drive independently with no problems at all! =D

Actually, I muttered a prayer everytime before I started driving, because I'm darn afraid of accidents.]
